What Orange Crush Families Are Saying
Hear directly from the players and families who have experienced the coaching, culture, competition, and recruiting support that make Orange Crush Buffalo one of Western New York's premier club lacrosse programs.
George Wheeler
Parent of Landon Wheeler (2026) & Brody Wheeler (2028)
My name is George Wheeler, and I have two boys who have either played or are currently playing for Orange Crush Buffalo. My oldest son, Landon, was a 2026, and my younger son, Brody, is a 2028.
We have been with Orange Crush Buffalo for six years, and our experience has been fantastic. From the coaches to college recruiting, the whole program itself, we have been very happy with everything.
My boys played for a few teams as they were coming up, including Always Sunny, FCA, and the Frontier Outlaws, but those teams were never really a good fit. Then we heard about Orange Crush. The boys tried out, made the team, and in turn have made lifelong friends and created memories they will never forget.
The coaches, including Coach Archibald and Coach Jimmy, have been great. Yes, they want to win games, but they also want to build a culture of teamwork, hard work, discipline, and fun. It has been amazing to watch not only the teams, but my boys specifically, grow into such confident competitors.
Over the years, their teams have won multiple tournaments in Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York. With that hard work and success, Landon received multiple opportunities to continue playing lacrosse in college and ultimately chose Mount Union.
The IMCLA recruiting platform, along with the guidance from Director Chris Macrides, was invaluable throughout the recruiting process. Landon was able to communicate directly with college coaches, narrow his list, visit schools, and confidently choose the college that was the best fit for him.
Now Brody is beginning the same process by creating highlight videos and starting conversations with college coaches. I am confident he will have every opportunity to choose the college that's right for him as well.
The Zoom meetings with Director Macrides and the IMCLA team helped guide both of our boys through what could have been a stressful recruiting process. We are incredibly thankful for the Orange Crush Buffalo coaches and leadership for helping our family navigate every step of the journey.

Orange Crush Parent
In our few years with Orange Crush Buffalo, I've been impressed with the club's increasingly impressive levels of quality and professionalism. My son has received excellent coaching and support, and the team has had enough success to keep everyone's spirits up.
It's clear that the program has reached a level of credibility that resonates at tournaments. The first year of my involvement, I'd overhear opposing team parents asking, "Who is this Orange team?" This year I've overheard something very different:
"Uh-oh... this is Buffalo."
Beyond the lacrosse events, I've enjoyed the friendships we've built with the other Orange Crush families. That sense of community is an important part of what makes this program so successful.
Orange Crush Buffalo has been a tremendous experience for my son and our family, and I fully expect the club to continue growing and thriving for years to come.

Orange Crush Buffalo promotes a very positive team culture, and my teammates are great people. I enjoy being around them and we always have fun competing together.
The coaches have supported me and taught me so much. I've received one-on-one coaching and advice that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else.
The coaches also took a genuine interest in helping me through the recruiting process by reaching out to colleges and providing guidance along the way. That support made a huge difference.
I'm incredibly grateful for everything they've done and would recommend Orange Crush Buffalo to anyone looking for a positive, competitive travel lacrosse experience.

Parent of 2029 & 2030U Players
Our girls have truly found their lacrosse family at Orange Crush Buffalo.
As parents, team culture is one of the most important things we look for in a club program. The coaches are outstanding role models who set positive expectations, teach the game the right way, and build meaningful relationships with the players that extend well beyond the lacrosse field.

Orange Crush Buffalo has been an incredible experience for our son.
We've watched his confidence, skills, and love for the game grow tremendously throughout the year.
A huge thank you goes to the coaches who dedicate so much time and effort to helping these kids succeed. It truly does not go unnoticed, and we're grateful to be part of such an amazing program.

Orange Crush has been such a great experience this past year.
There is an incredible balance between having fun and competing at a high level while continually building skills and confidence.
Coach Hannah and Coach Sydney are extremely encouraging and constantly challenge the girls to become their very best—both on and off the field.
