Steve Steck
Coach Steck, a two-time All-WNY defenseman at Grand Island, was a key player in securing a Section VI Championship. He continued his lacrosse career at Rutgers University and Canisius College, where he served as team captain. With 26 years of coaching experience across various levels and clubs, Coach Steck most recently led the Grand Island High School Varsity team in 2021. His leadership and dedication to the game have made a lasting impact on the lacrosse community.
Ted Lee
Coach Ted Lee served as the Grand Island Varsity Head Coach from 2014 to 2017, earning the title of Class C Coach of the Year in 2017 after leading his team to a sectional championship. With over 25 years of experience, he has coached and played at every level of the game, including youth, high school, NCAA, club, and international lacrosse. Coach Lee has also represented and coached the Thailand and Taiwan national teams and contributed to the development of players through his work with BLA Travel. His extensive experience and global perspective make him a valuable asset to the lacrosse community.
Chris Archabald
Chris Archabald is currently the Varsity Head Coach at Eden High School (2006-present). Prior to that, he was as an Assistant Coach at Hamburg High School (1997-2005). Coach Archabald has developed countless players into college lacrosse athletes and has had the distinct honor of coaching multiple US Lacrosse recognized All-Americans.
Chris Macrides
Coach Chris, an NCAA All-American, has been dedicated to leading the 2025s for over eight years. With more than 30 years of experience as both a player and coach, his journey began at West Genesee High School, where he helped secure a New York State Championship. A proud graduate of Clarkson University, Coach Chris has continued to pursue his passion for lacrosse by coaching numerous local teams, including Team Buffalo, GI Youth Lacrosse, GI Travel, and Orange Crush Buffalo. His expertise and commitment to the sport have made him a respected figure in the lacrosse community.
